Benefit Highlights

Sponsor Level ($25,000-$49,999)

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK – join us in the revitalized Delacorte Theater! 
  • Sixteen (16) reserved seats to TWELFTH NIGHT
  • Opportunity to reserve four (4) additional seats beyond your allotment for a donation of $350/seat
  • Invitation to Opening Night of TWELFTH NIGHT
  • Invitations to two (2) Dorothy Strelsin Backstage Dinners 
  • Invitations to Shakespeare in the Park Tech Events  
ASTOR PLACE SEASON 
  • Sixteen (16) complimentary tickets to the Astor Place Season of plays and musicals (up to six (6) may be used per production) 
  • Opportunity to purchase four (4) additional Partner Rate tickets to each Astor Place production 
  • Invitations to select Astor Place Opening Night performances  
  • Invitations to two (2) Partner Dinners
  • Invitations to ALL Partner Evenings, including the Joe’s Pub Partner Night 
VIP TICKETING 
  • Dedicated customer service and personalized ticket handling from the Partners Desk via phone or email for all Public Theater productions and performances at Joe’s Pub
  • No fees on purchases or exchanges, priority access to tickets before the general public, and access to prime seating locations
  • Eligibility for The Public's Broadway Concierge Service, providing access to purchase House Seats for select Broadway productions 
PROGRAMMATIC ENGAGEMENT 
  • Access to scripts for select Public Theater productions
  • Opportunity to designate your support toward specific Public Theater programming
  • Option to participate in special interest councils: the Musical Theater Council, for all dedicated to the creation of new musicals; the Shakespeare Council, for those passionate about The Public’s Shakespeare programming; or the Joe’s Pub Council, for anyone committed to advancing live performance in New York.

  • Invitations to insider experiences for plays and musicals in development at The Public, such as rehearsals and salon events with artists
  • Option to sponsor an Astor Place production, artist residency program, or playwright commission 

Ambassador Level ($75,000-$99,999)

All benefits at the Benefactor level, PLUS: 

  • Four (4) additional reserved seats to TWELFTH NIGHT (24 total)
  • Eligibility for a Public Gratitude Night, a personalized evening for The Public to thank you for your support, including eight (8) complimentary tickets to an Astor Place production of your choice and special on-site recognition
  • Opportunity to reserve an additional pair of tickets for Free Shakespeare in the Park Opening Night performances (subject to availability) 

Visionary Level ($100,000+)

All benefits at the Ambassador level, PLUS: 

  • Opportunity to sponsor a Free Shakespeare in the Park production or package of Astor Place Season plays and musicals
  • Eligibility for an enhanced Public Gratitude Night, including four (4) additional complimentary tickets to an Astor Place production of your choice (total of 12), on-site recognition, and a post-show champagne toast
  • Digital recognition on monitors in the Astor Place lobby 

LEADERSHIP COUNCILS

The Public Theater Leadership Councils are focused on specific aspects of The Public’s work and enable you to directly participate in programs that align with your unique artistic passions. 

Musical Theater Council

The Public is the birthplace of HAIR, A CHORUS LINE, HERE LIES LOVE, HAMILTON, FUN HOME….and so many more timeless shows. The Musical Theater Council supports The Public’s pipeline of musical theater projects. Experience the joy of bringing new musicals to life and be invited to private salons and workshops that share the process of this American art form. 
 
Membership begins at $25,000+, with additional benefits including behind-the-scenes access to musicals in development at The Public, unique special event opportunities, and more! 

Joe's Pub Council

The Joe’s Pub Council was founded to bring together a group of philanthropists, entertainment industry leaders, artists, and live music enthusiasts to champion the mission of Joe’s Pub and secure a dedicated source of funding and engagement for the venue. 

With a gift of $10,000+, Council members receive on-sale alerts for their favorite artists, have the ability to use complimentary Astor Place Partner tickets for Joe’s Pub performances, and more!
